I got a comprehensive overview of what AI is and the meanings of various concepts being talked about in this context. Excellent course for one to start on a solid ground. Five stars! Thank you Andrew.

The course is very good. But it is very basic, for the amount paid. Could have been a little more advanced.

This was really basic. I expected much more content. Not sure this content qualifies anyone to make any sound decisions about AI.

There are barely any specifics in this course, I do not think it should be a paid course on coursera. This was like watching some general Youtube videos for layman. Such content is available for free all over the web.

I am impressed by the overall quality of this course. Apart from the very friendly and effective teacher (thanks a lot Andrew ), the available content is rich and cohesive.
I confess that most of my fears about the evolution of pervasive AI, are now become drivers for further deepening and specialization.
In addition I really appreciate the learning platform and the quality of text transcription. Even if my English is not perfect (I am Italian) I have downloaded the text lessons and now I have a powerful learning base to review and improve my knowledge.
Finally I really appreciate the extra contents (optional) for richiness and interesting food for thought.

Loved it! Dr. Andrew Ng is such a great mentor, great speaker and has so calming voice. I really enjoyed the course and I have a greater understanding about AI, Machine learning, Big Data and where we are standing today with AI and what are the predictions for the future regarding it. Thank you, Andrew! You are great inspiration for software developers interested in AI.

Hands down the best introductory course on AI and the most interesting thing is that anybody can take this course without any Engineering or Science background.

An excellent introductory course to Artificial Intelligence, even for people who have been following the AI sphere for a long time. I've personally follow the AI space for many years now, but this course helped me to brush up on my basics again. Only criticism I have about the course is that Andrew NG while being an amazing lecturer and great at explaining things, pushes his conservative AI view too much. It's fine to tell people that you don't think AGI will happen soon, but to tell people that it's essentially a "waste of time" when many experts just as if not more qualified than Andrew NG say otherwise, makes it look again like a conservative agenda is being pushed, which has the adverse possibility of not preparing people well enough for a possible future. Also unfortunately as AI progresses extremely fast, at an exponential speed, some of the concepts in the course are outdated. For example, in the final week 4, Andrew NG talks about how the jobs most likely to be automated are "repetitive and mundane ones" but with the advent of LLMs, the job of plumbing seems to be much more secure from job automation than that of a programming in some senses.

Very good for beginners. Will be using a lot of the topics covered to talk to non-technical people about AI :) I've met too many people that think AI will turn into killer robots XD

Very good course
Postitive:
Clear commentary and methods of communication (visual, audio, etc)
Good pace for something relaxing
Easy to understand subject matter explained in a respectful way
Negative:
Locked quizzes
Some minor UI bugs when switching tracks, the checkmark doesn't activate. Also, the scrolling on page should keep video anchored, while speech-to-text scrolls.
Suggestions:
Unlock quizzes. People aren't going to pay $ for quizzes, but it helps in feeling satisfied. Locking them makes it feel like an attempt to get money, which makes sense if someone wants the Certificate, but not for quizzes. For example, should a school textbook (being borrowed from the library, perhaps) eliminate practice lessons with answers, and only provide quizzes if the book were used in a paid, formal educational setting?
If the goal is to monetize the course, then it makes sense. In that case, thank you for providing the content for free. I found it valuable and interesting.
